Prishtine, 13 November, 2023 — This day marked a significant milestone as the Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity hosted a Grant Signing Ceremony for the first 53 grants under the Resilience Grants Scheme. These grants aim to bolster the strength and resilience of women and minority-owned small businesses in the post-pandemic economy.
The event was honored by notable figures including H.E. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo, and Ms. Alyson Grunder, Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States to the Republic of Kosovo. Their presence highlighted the importance of this initiative in supporting the economy.
President Osmani, Ms. Eileen Devitt, Mission Director of USAID, and Ms. Nermin Mahmuti, CDF Executive Director, delivered impactful speeches, emphasizing the positive impact these grants will have on women and minority-owned enterprises.
After the grant signing ceremony, an open exhibition featured products from 22 target MSMEs. This showcase not only displayed the creativity of these businesses but also highlighted the potential these grants hold for growth.
