Prishtine, 7 July, 2023 – The Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity recently organized a dynamic Business-to-Business (B2B) event that brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs to foster collaboration in the local business landscape. 31 women and minority-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with 14 larger local enterprises took part in the event, thus promoting business partnerships.
A panel discussion ensued on the themes of resilience and local supply chains. Our esteemed panelists include Mr. Nol Buzhala, Director of the Private Sector Development Directorate at the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), Mr. Lulzim Rafuna, Head of the Economic Chamber of Kosovo, Mr. Korab Hoxha, Deputy Executive Director of Viva Fresh, and Ms. Saxhide Mustafa, Deputy Executive Director of Riinvest. The insightful discussion was led by Mr. Besnik Krasniqi, Executive Director of BSCK. This discourse offered a platform for attendees to gain invaluable knowledge and fresh perspectives on strengthening their businesses in the face of challenges. The panel discussion was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session, where participants delved deeper into the topics discussed, seeking practical advice and solutions tailored to their individual contexts. The interactive exchange highlighted the importance of collective learning and mutual support in driving economic progress. The focal point of the event was an open exhibition, where businesses proudly showcased their business offerings to fellow entrepreneurs and potential customers. This exhibition allowed attendees to explore a varied collection of goods and services, while cultivating a sense of togetherness and valuing local creativity.
However, the highlight of the event were the structured B2B meetings. Over 100 of these meetings were expertly facilitated, enabling entrepreneurs to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations. These interactions acted as a starting point for discovering possible collaborations that promise to reshape Kosovo’s economic landscape. The IEEA’s empowering B2B event marks a significant stride towards building a stronger and more inclusive economy in Kosovo.
