E-Café Access to Finance Series Wrap Up

Podujeve, 14 September, 2023 — A collaborative effort to bolster financial accessibility for women and minority-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) concluded as a series of events in Prishtina, Gjilan, and Podujeve regions. More than 40 women and minority entrepreneurs and key financial institutions participated in the discussions.

The collaborative initiative saw a coming together of influential entities, including the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund, BKT, Ibas, KEP Trust, TEB, and Finca. Their presence underscored a commitment to fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial landscape, offering insights and strategies to navigate the often-challenging funding landscape.

The participatory institutions didn’t merely showcase support; they actively engaged, uncovering pathways to overcome financial hurdles that often affect the progress of MSMEs led by women and minorities. The emphasis was not solely on offering funding solutions but on nurturing an environment conducive to sustained growth and development.

The overarching goal of these gatherings remains rooted in broadening awareness about financial accessibility while harnessing collective efforts to uncover innovative approaches for greater inclusivity. The resounding success of these events has set a promising precedent, as Inclusive Economic Engagement remains committed to fostering a more equitable and vibrant entrepreneurial landscape in Kosovo.
