Grant Signing Ceremony with 26 New Beneficiaries

Prishtine, 21 March, 2024  — In a move to promote inclusive economic growth, USAID’s Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity, implemented by Community Development Fund (CDF), has signed 26 new contracts with beneficiaries of the Resilience Grants Scheme. This progress demonstrates the Activity’s commitment to supporting women and minority-owned enterprises.

So far, the Resilience Grants Scheme has supported 79 businesses owned by women and minorities, with grants totaling $770,776.87. The primary aim of this initiative is to strengthen the resilience of women and minority entrepreneurs, ensuring they are prepared to withstand economic shocks. By empowering women and minority-owned businesses, the Activity aims to bring about sustainable development and foster prosperity at the grassroots level.

The Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity eagerly anticipates the future successes of its beneficiaries as they continue to play an important role in fostering economic growth within their communities and beyond.
