Prishtine, 15 June, 2023 – The fifth edition of the Entrepreneurship Café (E-Café) recently took place focusing on “The Present and Future of E-Commerce.” The event essentially focused its efforts on empowering women and minority-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in e-commerce. The E-Café, a platform that consistently proves its commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration, has set its sights on promoting a more inclusive digital business landscape. With a spotlight on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the world of e-commerce, the event offered the opportunity for sharing insights, building networks, and sparking dynamic conversations.
Among the event’s significant achievements was the signing of partnership agreements. Notable stakeholders in Kosovo’s e-commerce sphere, Gjirafa and Dyqani.com, signed agreements with Community Development Fund to pave the way for the integration of women and minority-owned businesses onto their platforms. These strategic partnerships are set to increase brand visibility in the digital realm, further emphasizing the event’s commitment to inclusivity. Distinguished speakers, Qendrim Nishevci, the CEO of Dyqani, and Brikena Rexhaj, Head of Gjirafa50 and GjirafaMall, participated in the event sharing their insights and expertise. Their engaging discussion with participating businesses provided a dynamic platform for sharing valuable experiences and successful e-commerce practices. As a result, the event became a platform for sharing knowledge, inspiring entrepreneurs to embrace innovation and navigate the evolving landscape of online business.
The exchange of ideas and practical examples of thriving e-commerce ventures provided participants with a roadmap to navigate the intricate world of digital retail. From using social media for effective marketing to streamlining user experiences for optimal customer satisfaction, the discussions underscored the importance of adaptability and forward-thinking in achieving e-commerce success. “We are delighted to see a door opening into the integration of e-commerce,” commented a participant during the event, “The partnerships established and the insights shared will undoubtedly contribute to a more vibrant and diverse e-commerce ecosystem in Kosovo.”
The Entrepreneurship Café’s dedication to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial sustainability through events like these reinforces the idea that innovation knows no bounds. By providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity continues to support women and minority-owned MSMEs, by lighting the way for Kosovo’s entrepreneurs to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of digital commerce.
