Prishtina, July 7, 2023. – The Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity recently organized a dynamic Business-to-Business (B2B) event that brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs to encourage collaboration in the local business environment. The event involved 31 women and minority-owned micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) along with 14 larger local enterprises, thus promoting business partnerships.
A panel discussion followed on the topics of resilience and local supply chains. Our esteemed panelists included Mr. Nol Buzhala, Director of the Private Sector Development Directorate at the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA); Mr. Lulzim Rafuna, Head of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Korab Hokha, Deputy CEO of Viva Fresh; and Ms. Sakhide Mustafa, Deputy CEO of Riinvest. The insightful discussion was moderated by Mr. Besnik Krasniki, Executive Director of BSCK. This discourse provided a platform for participants to gain invaluable knowledge and new perspectives on strengthening their businesses in the face of challenges. Following the panel discussion, there was an engaging Q&A session where participants delved deeper into the discussed topics, seeking practical advice and solutions tailored to their individual contexts. The interactive exchange highlighted the importance of collective learning and mutual support in driving economic progress. The focus of the event was an open exhibition, where companies proudly showcased their business offerings to fellow entrepreneurs and potential buyers. This exhibition allowed attendees to explore a diverse collection of goods and services while nurturing a sense of community and appreciation for local creativity.
However, the highlight of the event was the structured B2B meetings. Over 100 of these meetings were expertly facilitated, allowing entrepreneurs to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations. These interactions served as a starting point for discovering potential collaborations that promise to reshape Kosovo’s economic landscape. The event empowering B2B marks a significant step towards building a stronger and more inclusive economy in Kosovo.
