Advancing Kosovo Together – Local Solutions (AKT-LS) Program Continues With Grants Information Session in Mitrovica North

March 17, 2015 - Today USAID AKT-LS Program held its second information session in the Municipality of North Mitrovica. The venue of the event (Regional Community Resource Center in Mitrovica North) was packed with over 140 participants from the business sector and another 50 participant from the civil society organizations.

It is worth noting that such a large turnout of potential beneficiaries was not expected and that people were willing to stand in the room as well as in the corridor of RCRC eager to learn more about grants opportunities. 

The AKT – LS team including the program CoP, DCoP and Grants Manager was able to explain the whole application process and the structure of the grants for potential beneficiaries of both business sector and civil society organizations.

Next info sessions will be held in Vushtrri/Vučitrn (March 17th), Gračanica/Graçanicë (March 18th), Klokot/Kllokot (March 18th) and Štrpce/Shtërpce (March 19th).
